i'm also in the process of building another 270. This one is going in a 31 chevy pickup as a daily driver. Its going to have 3 carter/webers headers and a mild rv type cam. This is an econo job so i'm going to run the stock pistons for now and a small port head. I'm looking for tork and mileage. I would like to bump up the compression but pistons are mucho money and I already have a set of good stock pistons. This engine is getting a close ratio t-5 trans with a 4.10 rear for now
