How do you all handle the transmission access panel and the battery access when insulating the floor pan? Just insulate over it and don't sweat it?
I asked myself this same question while planning my install. In the end, I did not want the silver lining look on the floor of the truck each time I pulled up the floor mat to check the battery. So, I did not apply the sound deadener on the floor. I Stopped at toeboard to floor transition. I used 3M Body Shutz on the underside of the floor. Body Shutz is an affective sound deadener according to 3M.
