Baldy, can you point me in the direction of a wiring diagram of a '46 truck? I've checked my references and can't find a drawing with an ampmeter hooked up as you say. All my drawings show the starter and battery on one side of the ampmeter and the electrical system PLUS the generator hooked to the other side of the ampmeter. Thanks
