The brake light wire goes to the tuurn signal switch so that that switch can allow one brake light to work while it blinks the appropriate brake light. This means that there are no dedicated brake light wires going to the rear, only two wires from the turnsignal switch. There should be two wires going from front to back for the brake/turn lights, one for the taillights which divides at the back and one wire for the backup lights, if so equiped, whick also divedes at the rear. The bulbs have a high intensity filament and a low intensity filament, with the low being the taillight filament.
