Sorry Organbuilder, but it doesn't work like that. We use a law called "Ohm's Law" which states I (current) = E (voltage) divided by R(resistance). In this case voltage and current will be consistered "constants". So the current is what it is. Those of us who have been designing circuits and popping fuses for several decades know there are other things like heat/resistances coefficients at work here. But, when your up to your arse in grease and wiring harnesses the above law will "get 'er done".
