1949 Chevy 3600

Seven year restoration and still going. Original except for 12V, 1954 235, 2 circuit front rear disc brakes, 16" eight lug rims/tires, Pertronix.

Searching for the ever elusive 4:10 ratio pumpkin. Reasonable finders fee paid.

Fantastic 1949 3600! My first AD Pickup was a 1949 3600 that I bought from the original owners family back in 1976. Unfortunately I sold it a few years later.

Your truck is beautiful.
My 55.1 is Ocean Green. Is that your color?
It looks a different (beautiful shade) in each photo.

Sorry for the delay on answering your question. It's Seacrest Green. Ive been tied up dealing with cancer and I'm about to get a new knee. I hit 70 and I'm falling apart.

Sorry to hear about your cancer. Hope you have it on the "run" ... for when you get the *new* knee. Keep us posted if you are able.

I wondered what your screen name meant, then I saw your signature line. Was curious about "4 Unimogs." headscratch

acronym for the German "UNIversal-MOtor-Gerät", Gerät being the German word for a piece of equipment (also in the sense of device, machine, instrument, gear, apparatus).

What an interesting "apparatus." More from a search.

Hi Peggy,

Unimogs are tough to describe. All 4 of mine are former German military and only one is in decent shape. If I could catch a health break I'll get it back on the road. I posted a Youtube video. Search Unimog S3 Snowblower. (tan truck orange blower)
