| | | | | | Joined: Dec 2021 Posts: 105 'Bolter | 1955.1 3100 Barn Find This truck was in a barn in Oregon for 30 years. The last owner discovered and revived it to running condition. Being a Ford guy, he turned it over to me.
So far, I have given it full factory option turn signals and side mirrors. I've found a set of original 16 inch wheels and had them powder coated. New 215/85/16 tires as well.
I'm swapping the 3 speed for a T5, currently.
In the future, I plan to add dual carbs and dual exhausts to the 235 engine.

I have a couple questions. Mine came with the mouse ear turn signals on the front fenders but no turn signal switch on the column. Where did you find the turn signal switch? I noticed that you have the rear left fender with indent for spare tire. Are you keeping it that way or spare under bed? I need a fender like that if you are converting.
54 Chevy 3100 Deluxe 3 speed on column. Keeping original as possible but changed to 12 volt system.

Today you can purchase a new reproduction.

Buoymaker is right, factory turn signals were an option, so I bought a repro factory setup from Classic Parts and am very happy with it. It installed easily onto the column (as in photo), and lines up with the wheel nicely.
