How do you disassemble an Electrolock assembly?

I'm dismantling a '38 truck and I need to remove the coil from the end of the armored cable that runs to the ignition switch.

This is the first one I've ever seen that's still intact. Seems like most of them were hacksawed off years ago.

Any help appreciated.

Give this page a try. It's an Acrobat file.

Blue, think you answered your own question....
Got a Hacksaw?? :p What the HEY is this part you're talkin' about? Sounds like a "better" idea, left for someone else to fix!

GL,

Here is the coil end of the Electrolock:

Back of the ignition switch:

Back of Ignition Switch

And finally the front of the ignition switch:

Front of Ignition Switch

The coil is listed separate from the ignition switch in the parts book so I assume that they come apart somehow. Any help appreciated.
