Hey everyone,

This is my on going project that hopefully some day I'll be finished. Its a 1950 GMC 3100 short box. The project rolled into my garage in 2001. It was a friends who needed a place to work on it. It started out as a simple 12V swap. Soon that turned into a SBC/turbo 400. And then he found a Camaro front clip. Needless to say he lost interest in it and I bought it as is for $1000.

There it sat for a number of years before I got around to working on it. I too went through a few different ideas as to what I wanted to do with it. It was going to get the small block and a 700, then a 4.2L and 4L60-E. So after many sleepless nights the decision has been made. 6.0L and a 4L65-E.

It will be a classic retro style hot rod. Smoothies, Lake pipes, Lokar shifter, primer black and Wide whitewalls, Hilborn fuel injection.

Here are some pics to where I am up to today.
