Mine has been hauling a farm wagon around since last fall. I didn't have a place to store it this winter, so we loaded it on the truck before we put IT away. We just got it off this afternoon--backed the truck into the road ditch and hooked a tractor to the wagon and pulled it off. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 3,600 Moderator | | Moderator Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 3,600 | Don't get to use it for work very often. Used it last fall to repair a cross on top of a local church. Other than some local benifit events during the summer, it's sitting in the yard with the flag pole up on nice days. It will be up next weekend for the Memorial weekend. The 2-tons are about the same, don't use them very much, but when you do, you think , how did we get by without one. 1967 GMC 9500 Fire Ladder Truck"The Flag Pole"In the Stovebolt Gallery1946 2-Ton grain truck 1946 3/4-ton pickup, 1953 1-ton pickup 1957 1-ton flatbed dually, 1954 Pontiac Straight Eight Of all the things I've lost in my life, I miss my mind the most! | | |
