I just needed to get a post in this forum since I took all the old stuff out! Been in a cleaning frenzie all around the Event stuff.

So, the header above has all the important information for now (April).

As we start pulling this together, we'll post more stuff.

We still plan on convoying from the East Coast now that John has a dry run under his belt. We are hoping to bring as many from the East Coast as we can, and meet up with others along the way.

Hopefully, we can find some cool software that will show a map-route. We encourage others to convoy the same.

A little birdie told me (or maybe it was Fast Freddie) that a national magazine may be covering the show this year. It would be fun to have a huge turnout with stories from all across the country and OUT of the country (right Leo ... Fred, eh?).

So you got some time to save fuel money (!) and we hope to have time to get some cool things planned.

Will be wonderful to see everyone again. wave

John and Peg

Thanks for starting this thread Peg.
Vicki and I plan to attend again and will continue to attend as long as we are able to.
We would like to have a street legal, drivable bolt this year, but that will depend on if and when I get called back to work.
Looks like Vicki's uncle will be joining us with his show worthy truck and I told him, even though it is not a Stovebolt, nobody will hold it against him. He just has to park on the out skirts of the group and it's a great looking truck.

Vicki also said to say HI to you and John!

Cool Don. I think we'll have another big crowd again this year. Hope to talk to Mongo before the month is over for some planning ideas.

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend this year. I change command here in July. We're bound for Kuwait next for two years. I'll probably end up putting my Burb in one of the KC area underground storage facilities for the two years I'm gone. If all goes well I'll be back in the States in time for the 2016 reunion. A bunch of us could go resurrect the truck from storage and get it ready to road march back to the east coast.

Anyway, I sure will miss seeing everyone again. This was a great event the last two years I was able to attend.

Thanks

Planning on attending this year as I/WE had a great time last year! Still trying to figure what vehicles to bring.... Time will tell. Contemplating DRIVING Maters Cousin there and back. My son, David, and my friend, Joe, are excited as well.

Frank -- It will be just too cool if Mater's cousin drives this year! I had a blast driving last year.

Larry -- If Our Uncle sees fit to move you to the Military District of Washington (or hereabouts...) THAT would be just too cool. The ODSS stands ready to pipe you aboard. BTW 7.62 is still my favorite number.

John, Peg,

What are the dates for KC? I'm hoping to get out there with you. John, what vehicle are you planning to take?

Best,

Joe -- Good -- It will be good to see you both again.

Joe -- 4-7 Sept 2014. Haven't updated the plan since last we chatted. Tentatively, I have a trailer with your Astro and my '49 on it.
