I had a chance to meet up with a great young Bolter, Nathan ( Stovebolt48). He is currently working on a '53 GMC and used this weekend to make a road trip for parts. Nathan is going through Flight School in Pensacola for the U.S. Marines, he wants to be a Rotor Pilot. He swapped some training around to afford the time for this trip. He left Pensacola Saturday Morning, made a stop in Alabama for bumper brackets, then on to Knoxville and Mark ( Rusty Heaps). He picked up a set of Wheels from Mark and a Cylinder Head for me. From Mark's he headed to Georgia and my place. He did make a short detour in McDonough GA to the Summit Racing outlet. He stopped here at my place. I added 3 more 16" wheels to his collection. He got the grand tour as I was hanging insulation in the Shop. I talked to him for just a short while, in that time he did impress me as smart, level headed young Man. From here he was headed to Jacksonville FL tomorrow to check out a GMC engine. Then on back to Pensacola. Oh to be that young again..... Simper Fi Nathan! 0

Please understand this is not a rebuilding kit. If you need one of those, please contact Jon (CarbKing). That is the only place where you'll find the proper kit.
This is for the three gaskets (shown below) you will need if you have reason to open your carburetor. This set is for the manual choke models used on the 235 (like the YF2100S and similar models). Please let me know if you need me to make these for the Carter YF models used on the 216 engines. Shortly I will add a separate post for the auto-choke models.
Carter suggests you replace the gaskets anytime you have to open the carburetor. That might happen for a number of reasons: need to replace the diaphragm, need to replace or adjust the float, need to clean it inside, something caught in the needle/seat and need to remove it, need to change the metering rod due to moving to a higher/lower altitude...lots of possibilities. I laser cut these from Fel-Pro material.
If you want to buy a set (or two or more so you'll always have gaskets handy) just send a PM, tell me what you need and your postal address. Because of PayPal's fees I'm not using them any longer but am happy to take mail-in payments.
$12 per set delivered to you in the USA and $13 USD delivered to you in any other country. If any questions, please send me a PM.

This is for the four CNC laser cut gaskets (shown below) you will need if you have reason to open your carburetor and service or adjust anything. This set is for the automatic choke models used on the 235 (like the YF2101S, YF3211S and any similar models). Please let me know if you need me to make these for the Carter YF models used on the 216 engines.
