Hello people,
Here is some info that might be of some use to you New Hampshire and surrounding area big bolters looking for tires and someone willing to mount and dismount your old wheels.
I recently bought 4 750-20 tires from Mr.Gee's tire service in Goffstown NH. They were very helpful finding the tires for a great price. They had them for me in just a couple of days. They mounted them on my three piece wheels. They also disposed of my old tires for a very small price. Disposal of the old tires would have been 30 dollars each at my local disposal area. Mr Gee's only charged 8 dollars each.
I hope this helps someone. It was one of my biggest concerns while rebuilding my truck. They just made it so easy.

What brand and model tire did you go with?

In searching for 750-20 tires, while one can find repop military type tires, I hit a roadblock when trying to locate mud and snows. Can only find highway tread. The 825-20 size does have some mud and snows available. Dang them!

That's good to know. I need 8.25-20's for my truck, highway tread for the front, mud & snow for the rear.
Id love to find the original BF Goodrich Silvertowns that the truck came with from the factory, but I dont think anyone is repoping them. I'll probably end up going with what ever I can find.

Look up Nebraska Tire, I think they have or can get 8.25-20 Silvertowns.

I'm running PowerKing 7.50x20's on my 1.5 ton. My local tire shop sells them and will still mount them for me. I'm not sure where they are getting them, but they are only road tread. Not sure if they can get off road or not. Cost is very reasonable, especially when these are so hard to get.

I have been looking for new 7.50x20 Mud & Snow for a while and I always come up empty. The only Silvertown M/S I can find are 8.25x20.

7.50x20s are sold by Universal Tire and other vintage tire sellers. They are about $250-300 per tire. They are made by Specialty Tire of America (in PA, IIRC) and are not hot sellers so availability can be spotty.

Modern tractor trailers also use 7.50x20s, but not sure they would fit the rim of a civvy passenger truck.

For the love of God please do not put NDTs or NDCCs on anything you will have on hard surface roads.

I'll second that! In 18 months, I've watched (in horror) 10 new (with the nubbies) 11.00x20 NDTs turn into racing slicks.
