Hello,

Do you guys know if the wire harness is similar enough between a 64 and 65 where I could interchange them? Some clown snipped the turn signal wires at the bottom of steering column in the cab i am planning to use.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The schematics in my factory assembly manual seem to show that the connection at the steering column is interchangeable.
I am assuming that the wires snipped were those of the turn signal switch. When getting replacements from the junk yard many people do not properly disassemble the steering column to remove them correctly. They end up cutting the connector to remove them.

Thanks there Rusty64.. I think my harness is sliced before the connector on the harness side. They had a add on turn signal switch wired up to the thing. I have a 65 that i have harvested several parts from so far and hope I can use the wire harness there too.. Thanks again.
