My 51 3100 has a Dana 45 rear end in good shape but I am wondering about the shape of the drums. I have read the other posts about the non-existant GMC drums but I don't know if mine are these. I bought some chevy drums from NAPA but they are slightly different. Mine have a higher "dome" where the bolt circle is and the lug bolt holes are larger. Can anyone better describe the GMC drums or post a picture? If these are GMC does anyone know the minimum wall thickness for machining? They are just under 11" diameter with about a 2 1/4 wide contact area. Total height is 3 1/8. They look to be welded together.
Thanks
