and it seems that the outside diameter is to large by
about 1/32". I see in JC's catalog that the 1940-50 and
1951-54 use different Okie bushings. Anyone have any
knowledge about the difference?

I had thought the name Okie Bushing was cheap shot at a cheap fix.

thing they would publish any dimensions for them in the parts
book.
I haven't seen the old or new bushings, just been hearing about
it on the phone. Another friend of my buddy was doing the
replacement when they ran into the problem with the repop
Okie bushing.
