I got the horn working the other day, but it really is kinda wimpy for a big ol C30.

In fact I have an air horn on my scooter that is much scarier than the little 'mmmmp' horn on the truck.

It is shaped like the rams horn and maybe only about 5-6 inches across.

Were these horns any louder when new? Are there parts to replace here, or do I just need to swap to something else...on this beast I really want to warn people I'm coming. I'd like an air horn or a dual tone horn.

I do know that my 6v horn sounded wimpy when I didn't have a beefy enough button on it.

After I fried the button, I but a starter button on it and I have had no problems since.

Try a horn relay, or a bigger horn button. Also, you might check your grounds.
