Ok so Does anyone have a schematic of how the inside of the fuse block should be wired up? I have 2 fuse blocks the main block and then 3 wires going from that (Panel lts,Ingiton,Batt) to a smaller block. Well my orginal main block was cracked, pretty much shot. My original block was a 4 circut and I got a used one from a 61 GMC ,exact same except It's 6 circuts, (wiper and acc. added) and it didn't have the 3 wires to go to the smaller block that I have. So I went and rewired the 6 circut block to match exactly what my old block was. (I now have 2 extra circuits) My problem is that I don't have any seperation from Constant Batt power and the keyed ingition power. There's always some power going to the circuits that should be off when the key is off. So that brings me to my next problem. My turn signals no longer work. they just stay on,don't blink, even if the key is off, still stay on if I turn the handle on the column. brake lights work though. I did have them working early,(blinking that is) but they'd would still work, even if the key was off. So help! I don't know what to do!

Thanks,as always -Danny

One more thing I traced power to the smaller fuse block and that works properly, (Ing power cuts off when I turn the key off, Batt power is constant, and Panel lts powers up when i turn the lights on, so the problem has to be how I wired the main fuse block. But to clarify, there should be 2 power wires to the turn signal circut, a yellow wire going the "Dir signal spot on the block and A Orange wire going to the brake light switch. I forgot if the orange wire was constant power or not. I know that at least one of those 2 wires on the circut should be keyed power.....right?

usually the signals are keyed, the brake power constant, and the brake lights actually go via the signal switch, which interrupts the brake signal when on ... it's actually the brake filament that's blinking - don't have a shop manual wiring diagram?

Yeah I have a diagram from the shop manual, but it doesn't show how the wiring should be for the fuse block it self. I want to know how the wiring goes behind the fuse block since that's where my problem seems to be. The turn signal diagram says that a yellow wire and a pink wire goes to the fuse block, I think what I really need to know is "How does the flasher wire up in the circut?" I tested the flasher and it works.
