I'm welding up the holes now in the bed sides. the running boards and the fenders are off other trucks. the running boards and the bed are no pro. the front of fenders bolt to the running boards , then I'll have to locate the bolt holes for the 54 fenders ,on e-bay and in this Forum I've seen pics. where the rear bolt goes through the angle strip , and pics. where the bolt is about an inch above the angle strip.. "1955 1st 3100" like to know where the rear bolts are located ...

You seem to be doing a lot of modifications with new and old parts. Maybe if you try to simplify what you are looking for, or include some pictures of the area in question, you will get more replies rather than views.

I've seen it both ways on e bay and this forum . being from 47 t0 54 the rear fenders are the same I would think all the bolt patterns would be the same . The 85' bed has the same measurements as the 54' ....If nobody knows the answer I will bolt the front of fender to the running board then hold fender til it looks right ..looks like with all the truck owners somebody would know ..

I have a 54, but a 53 bed, and on the 53 bed, there isn't a bolt THROUGH the angle strip (I dont remember if it it above or below).

The rear bolt that is above the bed floor sits 1 1/2 inches above the top of the corner strip.
