I'm working on a 1946 216 and was wondering who you guys recommend for engine parts suppliers?
I need things like rings gaskets water pump ect.

Any vendor that deals in old trucks of the era will have parts.
I got my entire master rebuild kit from Clegg for $700. Nothing special about it.
If you need help with performance or 'what goes where' then google is still your friend.
I'll price out as many vendors as I can to get the lowest price. And ALWAYS check shipping costs. The lowest price may be a huge rip off when you add in shipping fees. You might be surprised at what is available. If you're going to use a machine shop find out who they get parts from. Going local can save time, maybe money, and any problems are easier to fix!

You may also check your local machine shop. They are usually a good source for parts. The guy I use has done many 216/235 engines and offered to get me parts if I needed.
Buy local if you can.
