My 65 3/4 ton steers very badly I tighted or screwed the adjuster on gear box down about a turn and a half. Steers better! Some people have told me I can screw the box up if I don't do it right does anyone know how to adjust this right. No power steering.

This isn't for your year truck, but the procedure is identical. http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/shop/1955truck2/55ctsm0903.htm
