I found the casting number on my 65 C-20 But it doesn't make sence I think the engine as be replaced. The casting #4437FT8 can anyone shed any light on this

Are you sure that's a "casting" number...looks more like a stamped serial number to me.

What engine do you think you have...is it a V8 or 6-cylinder???

Thanks for your reply Mike I found the number right behind the distributor on the right side on the motor. It is a six cylinder and not a 292, The side covers are not big enough. So its either a 230 or 250. It as a electronic distributor, But that could be a add on.
