Install a 12V regulator, 12V coil, ballast resistor. Polarized at the regulator. Changed all Bulbs and added voltage reducer on fuel gauge. Started did not show discharge, but it was ok. Ran it for awhile, gauge pegged to discharge, generator was smoking. Looked like battery leaked fluid. What happen? What did I mess up?
