I'm in the final stages of preparing to restart the 235 in my '61 Apache after headwork and some upgrades. I've put Fenton headers and the dual Fenton intake with a pair of Tom Langdon's Carter/Webers. I'm using the stock linkage from the pedal to the rocker link that's attached to the block, and the linkage supplied by Tom with the carbs. The trouble is joining the two. I've fabricated a connecting bar, using a bend in the rod with a clip on the rocker link side, and a the ball joint type connector on the carb linkage side. I'm having a heck of a time getting it to operate smoothly, and I was hoping some 'Bolters out there have the same setup. If you could offer advice on what you did and perhaps a picture or two, I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance.
