hi there..recently i took two spotlights out of a chevy car...How can i tell/check to see if they work????.. :confused:

I hook my jumpbox to the pos lead wire, the other ground, to anywhere on the shaft, twist the thing in every direction to see if there are any deadspots.
Have had to completely dissamble one and clean all the contact areas,including where it swivels on the head. use dielectric grease assembling and problems should go away!do not use heavy grease! I broke a gear that way in the cold weather.
