There is no seal on the bottom of the steering box on these trucks is there? I can't see one shown in the diagram. I know mine always seemed to drip a little oil from the bottom.

Mine for sure does not have a seal. How heavy is your oil?

If you're talking about a leak around the adjustment screw, a
dab of Permatex #2 on the threads when you rebuild it well seal
it up. Won't hurt to put a dab on the sector adjustment also.

I was using 85w-140 in the box. Maybe "knuckle pudding" might be better in it. Doubt I'll rebuild it anytimne soon it doesn't seem to be worn or excess play in it.
