Just wondering if anybody knows which Auto Kit tools were original equipment for 50 Chev 1 Ton.
I have both #100 and #200 open end wrenches plus pliers.

By 1950 the toolkit was not included with the truck but could be purchased separately as an accessory item. Here are photographs of that item. I will have to look through my tools to see exactly what the sizes were.

Expect to pay around $200+ for a similar NOS set. Tools are either VLchek or McKaig-Hatch. Jim Carter sells a set of drawings with the various tools illustrated by year.

Thanks for the information and pictures gives me something to use as a guide poking around in the antique shops and for posting the fantastic photos on the stream.

Was a tool kit included in the '48 Big Bolts? If so was it the same as the one Brad has a link too?

Tool kits were standard equipment through 1948. From 1949 upwards, the tool kit was an accessory.

Different sized trucks had different sized jacks.

The tool kits before 1947 had an adjustable wrench.

The spark plug wrench in the tool kit matched the spark plugs (which changed from 10mm to 14mm in 1949).
