For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | see this .... the farthest left knob not in that pic is the light switch ... the 'button' on the floor is the headlight dimmer switch, if you get a factory fuse panel it mounts above that in a cutout of the 'dash mat', it was only installed when a number of electrical options were ordered if you keep the 6 cyl and don't add a bunch of modern electrical accessories, the stock arrangement can be pretty clean, no birds nests involved - I notice you don't have turn signals, you might want to try and find an original unit to replace that plain cup below the steering wheel Bill | | | | | Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 1,362 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 1,362 | What you need is a readily available owners manual, as it will show the correct placement of the knobs controls etc. on the dash.
Kicking self for selling off my Taskforce trucks. Still looking for an LCF or conventional big bolt in decent shape.

I have a file like this saved, but its for the truck specs. Never even thought to look for the actual operators manual. I appreciate that man!! This is what I have. Wow just realized that it is the same website. Smh.... http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/chevyresto/59index.htm
