I just looked at another topic on here about pricing a bolt and so I am including pics.
57 GMC
57 front

57 left
57 grill
57 hood
That was all the good pics. Now on to the bad pics.
rust
this one isn't quite as bad.
more rust

Truck comes with a title. No motor but has a transmission with a pto and a hyd pump that was on a dump bed. Hyd tank still on it. I didn't get much chance to look around in the cab for more rust or completeness.
My interest in this truck is the price seems right to me. I may someday do something with it, but in the meantime I have a place to store it. And I am thinking the dump bed set-up would be cool to have if I ever wanted redo my old 49 dump.

Well you are safe at figuring it is at least worth its weight in whatever the current scrap value is. From there the value would be whatever you are comfortable with. Keep in mind that even though it is a cool truck it is still not that popular to restore the big ones the market is still small unlike the truck LOL.The deals are getting fewer but are still out there where people have them on thier property and just want them to go away. As you can see it is difficult to value these trucks. It is really a mater of what is it worth to you.
Now that I have been of no help what so ever I will stop LOL.

I agree with HevyHauler smile

Sad state for large trucks is that unless they are running and drivable they are rarely worth more than scrap value....not that we don't pay more, but that's just due to local availability and timing.

I have to agree with the others...scrap value. I would snatch it up in a heartbeat if it was here in PA...Rust does not look too bad. Check the dog legs in front of the doors and around the windshield. I need that pieces right below the hood in the front for mine...... Look at the wheels...if they are 20" They are no good because they are most likely rh5 widow makers so figure that into your restoration cost.

Some have made LCF's into pickups, regular PU bed w/ LCF cab, look very nice, more economical.

Well scrap here is $55 a ton. I paid more than that but still figured it was worth it. I can't seem to get the pics to work right now but will try again later.

On the way home I stopped and talked to a guy with a 55 Chevy LCF that runs and drives and he only wants a few hundred more than I paid for the GMC. And it has less rust. Guess where I'm going next time I have money!

A guy has a similar one,('55 Chev. L.C.F.,no swing-out side-hood panels),in Ryan,Iowa. He's asking $400.00,with no title. It's been sitting there for years, and he's only had a couple of offers, even though it's sitting along a highway. If I had a place to work on it,it'd be mine. It definitely is worth $400. That's the Chevy,I'm talking about.I have several pic's,(and a video),of this truck,in my "photobucket" link. That G.M.C.,('57),grill,and hood, may bring you some bucks,to the right buyer. I saw a G.M.C. L.C.F. ,on "craigslist",a couple days ago,and the guy was asking $1,200/O.B.O.! NO TITLE,just bill-of-sale! Looked to be in worse shape than "your" truck. There is a market, but it's a small market. It seems that the big trucks you find,(running, driving),don't cost much more than the "parts trucks". This probably didn't help much either, but it gives you an idea of what sellers are "asking".
