From Shane : Since 2002, I built a new chassis with a 1975 Camaro sub frame grafted on an original frame. I built a custom 4 link rear suspension with a narrowed Dana 44 rear end. The truck had 29 x 15.5 wide tires on vintage 15 x 12 Fenton Gyro wheels. Here's another good size view. I have also completed the interior and added A/C. I am not stranger to this kind of modifications since I have been around a body shop my whole life. I like the old stuff and my brother that owns the body shop wants nothing to do with old stuff. He tells me it just causes me headaches and I tell him new is boring. I converted it over to independent front suspension, with 4 wheel power disc brakes and power steering. I am running a mildly built 350 and a 700r4 over-drive tranny. I have been working on this classic truck for two years and finally shot some paint on it last month. I did throw a/c in it this summer. All that needs finished is the interior. Here is a cool picture from a burn out contest I was in.

Shane, looks like a lot of hard work with some really great results. Also looks like you will be keeping food on the table for the local tire shop owner! ~ Curator
