I am trying to finish the wiring on my 50 1/2 ton and didn't do the best job under the dash to see when the original wiring harness was removed, where the new wires attach.
#1 I have a Signal Stat 400 turn signal that has 4 wires coming out. Is there a diagram for this connection?
#2 Where is the "stoplamp switch" located to attach the brake lights?
I realize these are obvious to most, so pardon my rookiness.

GoCougs,

There seem to be quite a few different turn signal units, each with its own wiring configuration. I stuck in a link to a few sites that might help you.

The brake light switch should be in the lower firewall area near the brake pedal arm (engine compartment side). It's a small lever actuated switch.

You can,t run your brake lights through the turn switch useing that switch. you will have to add extra lights on the rear or use a 7 or 8 wire switch.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

There is a Tech Tip right here on the Stovebolt site. It doesn't include the 4 wire switch but it tells you how to figure out any switch's wiring.

Wrenchbender Ret. is right about the brake lights so you won't need to look for that connection when you diagram it.
