Is there a diagram for this connection? #2 Where is the "stoplamp switch" located to attach the brake lights? I realize these are obvious to most, so pardon my rookiness.

I stuck in a link to a few sites that might help you. The brake light switch should be in the lower firewall area near the brake pedal arm (engine compartment side). It's a small lever actuated switch. http://www.oldgmctrucks.com/page0262.html http://www.film.queensu.ca/CJ3B/Tech/SignalWiring.html Stuart

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum

It doesn't include the 4 wire switch but it tells you how to figure out any switch's wiring. Wrenchbender Ret. is right about the brake lights so you won't need to look for that connection when you diagram it.
