on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 775 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 775 | I am working on the wiring harness for my 46 head lights. Does anyone know if the center contact of the head light connector (pin 2) is the common between high and low beam? The head light ohms to zero between all pins so I can't tell. Worse case will be hook up the head light. Thanks. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,321 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,321 | GW, Turn the 3 prong head light plug facing you with 1 terminal on the bottom and 1 terminal on each side. The terminal on the bottom should have a Brown wire (ground) the terminal on the left, Black wire (low beam) and the terminal on the right, Green wire (high beam) The wires should go to a terminal board on each inside fender. Here is the wiring diagram for the 46. http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/electrical/wiring/pdf/46truck.pdfGood luck with your project, Harold
