If there is such a device, it would work for all A-D years, 47-55.
A panel/suburban/canopy rotisserie would be an interesting and impressive device. The bottom of the body would have to to be rigidly supported from front to back, or there would the danger of producing stress cracks, especially in solder-joints.
People have posted photos of rolling frames made of wood. This worked fine for me.

It works well, and all that needs to be done is to figure out where the center of gravity on the body is, to bolt the brackets so it can be rolled to any position desired while working on it.
