I ordered a ps adapter kit from cpp and it says to use a 72-87 truck steering box. My question is- can a steering box from a mid 70's camaro or fb work? What is the difference? Is it the spline at the rag joint? Or is the box just larger?

Also 80 up use O-ring type fittings & the earlier ones use fared fittings on the hose connections.
