I found and removed all three of these heater from AD style Trucks One was A Chevy with a pretty nice heater but it looks more like it should be in a car? (Super Deluxe) The other two were GMC's easy to ID the heater says GMC on it, But the other is rather cool looking but has no name on it I can find !! Three trucks three completely different heaters ?
Pictures are in the Link, because I can see no way to attach to message ?

First heater is a GM truck heater common from 1941 thru phase out in 1947 both 1st and 2nd series. Second is a car heater prior to dash mounted control units in 1949 I think. These are also sometimes seen in Pontiac, Olds and Buick's. Third is an aftermarket, common brands were Firestone, B.F. Goodrich, Arvin, Montgomery-Ward and others. In addition to the first heater correct AD truck heaters are versions of these.

Variations include color, doors, aluminum plate vs. decal, vents, and switches.

Back in the day they were optional and you could get one installed cheaper at Western Auto, Otasco or what ever your local store was than at a dealer.

That third heater is pretty cool.

The dealer-installed AirFlow heater was the most expensive option on my truck ... $64.87.
