I will be there with my 49,rain or shine. I will add that is that time of year to set up your truck for winter, put stabilizer in your fuel AND drive it for 10 min. or idle it for 20 min. to get the stabilizer into the carb. It is also a good idea to have a full tank of fuel to prevent condensation in the fuel tank. ( Prevents RUST from forming inside the tank ) For longer than 3-4 months it is a good idea to spray in some fogging oil in with the motor running to coat the top end with oil. For motors not running, remove spark plugs, turn over motor while spraying in the fogging oil, then put the plugs back in.

Good advice Hippy.
I was at the swap meet, sorry I missed seeing you. Picked up an old ad from a Saturday evening post, for the '54 pickup. Lots of cool stuff, I was impressed.

Hy Guys, Roger and I went, we saw NW GMC (George) leaving as we were pulling in, but he stopped and bragged to us about what he found. I found a Corvette tach drive distributor and a 55/56 RH exhaust manifold for my 55 LCF, so it was a good day for me.

Sorry we missed everyone at this event... I usually try not to miss this but I've been out of the loop on SB and have been more focused on Facebook, dog rescue, my music and renovations I have been doing... oh well we'll catch the spring one instead!

Hope everyone is well! smile
