I used search found restoration a build sheet example off site ~ it was ok

I was wondering if anyone has a nice worksheet they use on their builds?

Entire project or specific like engine

I keep a running list in my head but aclipboard would help

All restorations will be different. I think and its just me a pad and a pen will be your best bet. What I did was think of the things I wanted to do as far as upgrades for safety and comfort. Every car show or old truck I saw If I liked something I took a picture of it and when I got home I jotted the idea down my list. After I did my and was ready then I started my other list of the needs. I power washed and cleaned and degreasing everything taking pics of everything possible as it was taken apart labeled and put into bags. Do not throw anything away until you have the new or replacement part.

I guess there is too many variations from keeping it stock, to hot rodding it, mechanical and safety upgrades, wants, and performance.

I had so many lists like what was to be chromed, what I was going to replace, what I was going to repair, what items I wanted to upgrade or install etc. then combined the lists. I also made a parts list from whom I got the parts from and then combined it all in a word sheet so I could edit and save everything and changed it many times.

keeping it in your head is nice but a short pencil is better than a long memory. plus you can print it and when you go part hunting you can see your list because there was a few times I forgot to pick up something and had to make another trip.

but if someone has a list I would like to see it too.
