We are coming close to paint and still undecided. The paint code for the 65 C10 is 526, it says so right on the tag. My son is obsessed with the color and i lean toward light green. He is leaning on me pretty hard for that color which i kinda dig SO, i would love to see a pic if anyone has one of an Ivory colored truck... (his rationale, "You are going original, AND you NEVER see this color!") - darn, just like his old man... We know tons of history - built at the Norwood plant, the dealer even, it used to be a service truck for the city of Circleville and they painted it dark green, which i kinda dig. Love to see a pic if any Stovebolters know of one.

Number 526, is Off-White, per the 1965 GM Truck Sales Data Book. Do a google search, in image mode, for 1965 Chevy truck. Several will come up.

Me dumb, you smart Tony. I finally did and found three pics that do the job. My son wins and i am going with Ivory! Kinda dig the color. I have never seen one in person and have seen the paint chip from a friend's book. Now, onto the stripping and prep!

You just make me want to restore another one!!! I don't think I can make one as nice as yours though. Wow!

Great idea, Nesto426. Put another 4-5-6 Chevy truck, back in operation for another 50 years!

Thanks for the compliment. There are many doing what 4-5-6 Chevy Trucks is doing & better, so don't sell yourself short! Good luck and keep us posted, when you get started.
