Is there a easy swap for a steering box I am putting a v 8 in it and looks like its hitting.

Chassis Engineering in Iowa makes a very nice bolt on rack and pinion independant suspension set-up. Just purchased for my 47 GMC truck.
I plan on using modified stock steering shaft with the original wheel.

My buddy was able to move the box outboard just a bit and then used 55-56 exhaust mnfld that dumps out forward. Or you could make some tube headers to clear also.


It's easier to get forgiveness than permission!
