For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2012 Posts: 29 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2012 Posts: 29 | I have read many posts on origianl factory finish of the wood bed and strips, black (and how) vs. body color. However I hav not seen any posting on actually painting the wood and strips with body color. The 1956 my uncle bought new and did not do any restoration on has traces of tthe body color on the wood, strips and bolts. What I am in need of is the right materials to use and the right preperation to correctly apply body color to the bed.
