Found a 50 chevy styleline and a 52 1/2 ton. decided to do a frame off with the truck. The car on the other hand is a true barn find with original interior. Needed an exhaust from front to back. So I contacted Natl Chevy and they sent me what I needed. I just don't know where the bends and in what order they get installed once I drop off the manifold. Can any one (after you finish laughing) send me a diagram or photo showing what the travel of the exhaust looks like from front to back.

The "header pipe", the one that connects to the exhaust manifold is the first one and should be easy to tell which it is since it bolts to the exhaust manifold. That header pipe will run down and back to somewhere around the area under the driver's seat. Depending on how many pieces were sent you, you should be able to tell how the rest of it goes together due to the pipe where it bends over the rear axle.
Good luck. I'm sure you can do it..... and oh, in case I haven't welcome you to the Stovebolt...welcome to the best old Chevy truck site on the web. Good luck. | | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 1,747 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 1,747 | Yes, what was said by Achipmunk. Once you lay it all out it will become rather straight forward. One tube with a big hump bend over the rear axles, muffler and an "L" shape to the exhaust manifold. That is back to front. Or the way that Achipmunk said, front to back:"L" bend to the front, muffler, then the big bend over the rear axle. Simple really.
