They did not come drilled for the fender mounting holes and I don't have old bed sides to make a template from. Is there someone out there that has a good bedside laying around that they'd be willing to make a template with for me?

If you could make the template nice and big and have good reference points that would be awesome. Maybe even take a couple pics with the template in place on your bed side just to make it that much clearer if you can. I'm happy to pay for postage to get it to me.
