I'm trying to find the sizes of the single barrel base plate gaskets. I am not sure of the different number sizes listed. i also hear there is a number assotiated with them? Ex. a 2 may be 2 11/16ths? Does anyone have a chart or know what the sizes are for the 216, 235, and 261? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Take care,
Steven

Three different gaskets are shown by Chevs of the 40s.

Two sizes are shown by Jim Carter.

What is/are the part numbers you have (and for what brand/vendor)?

Looks to me that Chevs of the 40s has the gasket that fits between the intake manifold and the insulator as well as the carb base gaskets.....there is one there isn't there? Hum... I never took that bit apart..never needed to weld on one either...Lucky me..:)

My Zenith- 20A, D18429; 7521D. Base inside bolt pattern of 2 & 11/16 in.
My Rochester C has a base number of 7004522C. Base inside bolt pattern 2&1/2 in.

I read someplace where the 216 has a base size of 2 and the 235 is a size 3? Or as I remember it anyway.

Take care,
Steven
