I'm currently running Goodyear super cars. Made for vetts. They're nice and tacky. I don't try to take turns or any thing at a crazy speed but I like some nice acceleration. They're fairly cheap considering the sizes I'm running also. I burned through the rears in 3 weeks.... Soft compound/lots of hp. Bad combo for longevity. What are you guys using? I previously had 32" bridgestones in the rear. Those cost my first born and a pint of blood.

I run Michelin LTX/MS on my '55 (30x9.50x15) and BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO on my Blazer (235/75/15).

Hollow65, what size are you running for the supercars?

You're going to be really limited in what tires you can get in that size, and since they will probably be performance tires the tread depth will be very low to begin with. Try maybe BFG or something like that. If you're running a 383 with an 871 and a posi and you plan on showing off you'll probably want to budget a lot for tires. Especially in that size.

You may want to consider going to the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, much better tire than the Goodyear. Has twice the wear rating, but with the same traction rating.

I knew they wouldn't last too long. $150 each was a deal I couldn't beat. I'm checking out nitto 555 also. It's this dang lead foot. I'm addicted to the screaming engine sounds. Before I lowered it I was running 35" bfgs. I'm not worried about the cost of the tires or how often I burn through them. I'm not being pompous, I just don't care. My truck crud is figured into my monthly bills. I was just curious what everyone is running. I like johns truck with the widened bed and the big meats. If I ran 15" wheels I'd probably have more options, maybe a nice torque thrust ll. some sidewall on the tires will go a long way also.

I have on my 53 3/4 ton 700-15s on the front and 30-10.50-15 coopers on the back, when I get it back on the road I am going to try and put 16 inch HANKOOK tires on it, size depends what we can put on the front.

I'm running 31x10.5 15s on my '46. I like the tall fat tire look, and the way it gears it out.

My dealer told me that Michelin was the only one with road hazard warranty on truck tires...so that's what I run on my big Dodge. I have some off brand radial on my 49 half ton...can't recall...

That's not true at all.

Definitely not true. We have a road hazard package available on every brand tire we sell, from the low end Chinese and Korean brands all the way up to the Michelin and Goodyear. I do know that some of the online/catalog tire sellers, like Tire Rack, will not offer road hazard on LT rated tires, though.

I buy the tires for my wife's car and my work truck from my dads dealership, I buy my toys tires from onlinetires.com. They're cheaper than most, I didn't even check for a warranty. I probably voided it in the first 5 minutes after engine warm up.
