Many people do that swap. But why is the V-6 so far gone? Parts are still available for it. And they are just a tad bit unique anymore. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 2,384 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 2,384 | I'd say a 350/700r4 out of 90-99 pickups or 4.8/5.3/4l60e out of 99-up Chevy trucks. Those V6 parts can be pricey when you find them. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 59 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 59 | when I got the engine out it was total rust in side I took it to speed shop where I have had three other motors rebuilt and he is well known in our area he told me it the block was shoot
