Could anyone tell me if interior sun visors were available on a 46' Chevrolet 1/2 ton. I have holes in the cab, but no visors. Thanks.

Jim Carter sells the reproductions. I believe it was an option.

In 1946, the Sun Shade (arm and visor) was available (left or right side) as a factory installed option (Option 261A or 261B) or as an accessory. The visor was laminated plastic material - the color was not specified - brown?

46gmcpu,

What is the part number for the JC visor?
Here is the visor bracket.

Jim Carter has a newly listed 1946 visor. Item # UPV127 $49.50 EACH

I received an email notification from JC today.

He had recently added many 1946 parts. They might not be in his on-line catalog but the are available if you know the part number, or maybe if you check the New Inventory link on his website.
