I changed my split rims and now not sure if they should be saved or taken to the junk yard. Any info. would be great.

I think they are 16 inch and I know that they are 3 piece.

Keep them! or send them to here in Kansas City. Do not let split rims fool you. They are fine with the right equipment and know how.

If they are the Firestone R5's, render them unusable BEFORE you take them to the scrap yard. If they are not rusted out to the point of being unsafe, keep them and conserve them in a dry location or pass them on to someone that can make use of them. These are a limited resource and if not today, tomorrow someone will need them.
