Canadian half tons were badged "1300" in the early 50s however later in the decade they became "3100" like their US counterpart
Am interested in learning in which model year that occurred. Thank you,

That means when I come across a nice '59 Oshawa Apache badged 3100 it indicates that rather than restore the original 1300 badge, the owner has mounted a repro from Jim Carter or some such supplier

Plate under hood states "style 3104, body 50857, paint 5003" and on door jamb "serial 9310610807A, engine C408774, max load 5000 lbs & GENERAL MOTORS OF CANADA"
Trelford GM dealership of Tara, Ont sold it new to a local farmer who owned it til 1971. Current owner has had it since then
