I have been asked to help design a T shirt for the Louisiana chapter of the ATHS and I need a black and white picture of an old stake bed truck turned sideways. I am shocked at how hard it has been to find a 90 degree shot. I will take a color photo also and either a 30s, 40s, or 50s truck any help would be appreciated. You can email them to me at [email protected]

Thanks
Brad

None of the local chapter members have a stake body truck? That's hard to believe... headscratch

Brad,
Will either of the first two pictures in this collection work?

If so, I can send you higher rez versions of them. Shoot me an email at [email protected] I may have a few others, too.

Those are what I am looking for but do you have a side profile picture of it. ATHS requires that their logo be facing straight. In other words it has to be on the side of a truck at a 90 degree angle. They do not want it at any angle for some reason. You should see the list I got of rules to create a logo.
Thanks
Brad

Brad -- I'll take a look through the Stovebolt image library to see what I have should Ricky's not work for some reason.

Yes I got your pics but I need the tall stake bed sides. I will look a little closer though to see if I can make it all fit.
Thanks

Brad, There's a guy named William "Bill" Wendelaar (don't know if I spelled the last name correct) that has two Beautiful Chevrolet COE Stake Bed Trucks. A blue '48 model 5700 series. & a green '49 model 5400 series. I think he's a member of the Antique Truck Club of America, & has been to the Macungee Pa. Truck Show numerous times. Someone on here may have pictures of them, or you may be able to do a google, or flickr search, & find them.

Check out Marlowcoal for a neat 46 Chevy COE Stake Body. I'm sure he can provide you with a good picture.

It would be great, if you can find pictures of those Wendelaar trucks. Both of them have Factory GM Stake beds installed.

Hi Brad -

Contact Stovebolter "Bill Marlow." He has some beautiful side view pictures of his '46 stakebed. The on-line pics disappeared when WebShots emploded.

If you don't mind spending some time working on the images, here are photos, illustrations, and blue prints of stakebed trucks. Most of the photos are 3/4 view. The "blue" blueprints and the "B&W" blueprints are side views. The blue prints would look great on a tee shirt.
